Only digital content is sold here, and it is delivered immediately after payment: the buyer expressly asks for immediate delivery and acknowledges that, once received, it can no longer be returned. Printed books are bought on Amazon, under Amazon's terms.
Who sells
The seller is GIF Web Solutions, the name under which an individual publishes their products. For any request, use the contact form or write to gifwebsolutions (chiocciola) gmail.com.
What is sold
- Books in digital format, through the website storiadellafotografia.com;
- print-and-play board games, as a PDF, such as Blackout, in the same shop;
- software licences and additional features of the applications not included in the base version;
- subscriptions, where a product is offered for a recurring fee.
Printed books are not sold here: they are bought on Amazon, which sells and ships them. Ordering, delivery, returns and refunds follow Amazon's terms.
Each product page states what is being bought, how long it lasts and which devices it works on.
Order, price and payment
Prices are in euro and are those shown before the order is confirmed. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed, and the order summary is sent by email.
Card payments are handled by Stripe: card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
Delivery
Everything is delivered immediately after payment: the book or game to download, the licence key or the feature unlocked in the application. Nothing is shipped.
Right of withdrawal
Digital content is delivered immediately. For this reason, before paying, the buyer:
- expressly asks for delivery to start immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends;
- acknowledges that, once the content has been received, the right of withdrawal is lost.
The order confirmation sent by email records this consent. Without it, a purchase of digital content cannot be completed (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).
The warranty is unaffected: content that does not work as described is fixed or refunded, as explained below.
Subscriptions
A subscription can be cancelled at any time from your account or by writing to us: it stays active until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. Within 14 days of subscribing, consumers may withdraw and be refunded for the part of the period not yet used.
How to withdraw
This applies to subscriptions, within the 14 days. A clear statement is enough, through the contact form or by writing to gifwebsolutions (chiocciola) gmail.com. You may use this model, but you do not have to:

Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee: for two years digital content that does not work as described — a book that will not open, a licence that will not activate — is fixed or refunded. To report it, use the contact form or support.
Buying as a business
The right of withdrawal and the other consumer protections apply to consumers. Those buying for their business — for example a management software licence bought with a VAT number — have no statutory right of withdrawal: the terms of the individual product apply.
Support, complaints and disputes
Questions and complaints: the contact form or support. We reply as soon as we can.
Italian law applies. Consumers keep the protections of the law of the country where they live, and disputes fall under the court of their place of residence.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes. Each order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed.
